This recipe for cooking roasted potatoes is about as easy as it gets.
This is part of what I would call a series of “the easiest recipes possible,” as shown with my Oven-Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli recipe.
Easy Roasted Potato Ingredients
- Three to five roasting potatoes
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
Paprika isn’t completely necessary, but it sure does help the whole thing look nice.
How to Prepare Roasted Potatoes
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 Celcius.
Peel your potatoes and cut them into fairly large pieces and throw them in a large bowl.
Melt two or three tablespoons of butter and put it on the potatoes. Toss them around a bit until they’re as well coated as you can possibly get them. Put some salt, pepper, and maybe some paprika on top. Just flavor to taste.
Put the potatoes on a baking sheet (which you may want to cover in aluminum foil to ensure an easy cleanup,) and bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes or until you can poke into the potatoes with a fork and pull it out clean.
This potato dish can be served next to any main and be a cheap and delicious “filler” to top up a nice meal.
